Cross Training

Cross Training consists of four separate classes to help you develop into the person God wants you to be. Cross Training is for ages 12 and older. Those who are under 18 must have their parent's permission. Come join us in CLASS 101, find out what we're all about. Cross Training Changes Lives! Sorry there is no child care at this time.

Cross Training 101 - Discovering Church

You were designed to be a part of a church family. And that's exactly what Cross Christian Fellowship is intended to be - your family. That's why at CCF we want to share with you what we believe and where we are going. Cross Training 101 is the basic introduction to our church family designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. Class 101, is broken into three sessions covering: The Body of Jesus, The Specifics of CCF, The Strategy of CCF.

This class is taught by Pastor Scott Thom. This is a great opportunity to learn about Cross Christian Fellowship, get to know others, have fun, food and fellowship. You don't have to become a member to attend it - it's just for your information.

We'll explain what we believe, how we operate, and the history of our church. We'll answer your questions, share information on our church's future plans, and how you may become a member. At the end of Cross Training 101 there will be an opportunity for you to decide whether to complete the process and become a member or wait and decide at another time. No pressure whatsoever, we want you to be comfortable with whichever you choose to do. . . . Sign up for Cross Training 101

Cross Training 201 - Discovering Devotion

The second Class focus is on the four basic habits every Christian needs to grow to spiritual maturity: Time in God's Word, Prayer, Tithing and Fellowship. In this class you will learn how God speaks to you from His Word, moves you in prayer, opens your heart with giving and deepens your walk with friendships. There will be no pressure or legalistic rules.

You will learn positive devotional habits that will contour your life into a Christlike walk. Grow at your own pace whether by leaps and bounds or baby steps - you decide. . . . Sign up for Cross Training 201

Cross Training 301 - Discovering Gifts

God didn't design ministry for just the few with seminary degrees. Here at CCF we believe that every member of our church is a minister. We also believe that God has a plan for each person. This is what CLASS 301 is all about. Through the process of the C. R. O. S. S., you'll learn how God can use your Character, Rational, Observations in life, Skills and Spiritual Gifts to minister to others in need.

First, God can use your personality. God can use all of us, whether we're extroverts or introverts; we enjoy routine or variety but we have to have character.

Second, God gives each of us a unique passion for particular activities, subjects and circumstances. God uses those things we feel deeply about to show us where we can serve without quickly burning out.

Third, God has placed a multitude of experiences in your life to help mold you for ministry. God can use many of our experiences in our background to help heal hurts in our church and in our community. Fourth, you have abilities, given to you before you accepted Christ, that God can use. Those abilities will help you in a ministry.

Finally, God gave you a special ability when you started following Him. We call this a spiritual gift. God gives us this gift to build up our church family and reach out to the world with Christ's love. . . . Sign up for Cross Training 301 Cross
